No, it's not accepted. Welingkar accepts scores of CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAH CET and GMAT exams. These score have 50% weightage in their selection process. Your previous academic performance has 15% value and work experience has 5%. Remaining 30% of weightage is divided between the group discussion & personal interview. Thus you have a good chance if you score above 90% in exams like MAH CET or CMAT which are comparatively easier exams and perform well in the GD/PI process. This is applicable for the PGDM courses offered at Weschool. For MMS the admissions happen through MAH CET exam score and cap rounds. You will find most of the stud

Welingkar Institutions have mainly 2 types of Management program i.e., MMS & PGDM.
According to DTE notification, for the academic year 2017-18, Welingkar institute can't accept MAT score card for MMS course & for PGDM still status is not cleared.

MAT is an all India level exam which is conducted 4 times in a year during February, May, September and December. Till last year, MAT was considered as an all India level exam for the all India quota seats for MMS program. But, from this year the DTE has explicitly mentioned, that the only exam they are going to consider for MMS program are CAT, CET and CMAT. MAT exam will no longer be considered as an eligible exam for MMS program for the all India quota seats. So, MAT will not be considered for Welingkar MMS program. For the PGDM course at Welingkar, there still hasn't been any announcement from college side. Further, clarity on same

VIT Business School accepts MAT exam percentile for admission to MBA programme. The MAT Cutoff 2024 is 80 for students belonging to the General All India category. In 2023, the VIT Business School cutoff was 80, and in 2022, it was also the same, at 80.

This trend suggests that the MAT percentile has neither seen much change in cutoff nor competition over the past three years.
