Is math necessary for pursuing MA in English?

For MA English, a knowledge of the Bible and Greek Literature is of advantage. Most of the subject is based on the knowledge of the Bible. In certain papers, there are references to Hinduism. In American Literature, there is a great deal of Hinduism, especially in the classics.

No, Maths is not a part in M.A. English curriculum.
