    No, maths is not compulsory rather it's an optional subject which you can take up for your own benefit or desire. Economics (Hons) doesn't require maths.

    I don't think so because, do class 12th from arts and keep economic as your main paper after that you can choose economics as hons.

    Yes, Mathematics is the primary requirements.
    Or, if you have studied economics a subject in your +2 you are eligible for some colleges.
    This study wisely and choose wisely.

    The minimum criterion of eligibility needed to be met for admission to the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute/ university with a minimum aggregate score of 50. Some universities and colleges give preference to students who have studied Economics as a subject at 10+2 level. Thanks!
