No, every university has its own different norms. Maths is not required by many universities but some of the institutions can have maths subject in B.Com. You must have the basic knowledge of mathematics (up to class 10th or 12th). So, you can easily crack or clear the exam.

It is necessary. You need to qualify the exam set up by the university in order to get admission. The minimum eligibility criterion is 10+2 passed, or equivalent examination pass with 50% in aggregate.

Hello Niraj, Maths is not compulsory for taking up B.Com (H) in BHU, while it is compulsory in many other universities and colleges. You can take the entrance test of BHU easily, because Maths of basic level i.e. up to class 10th comes in the exam. All the best.

Yes, it is necessary to have as a subject. It is up to you to consider it in your best of four, but for admission you must have studied it.

For the first 2 years, it necessary. But for the last (3rd) year, it isn't.

Yes, it is compulsory for BHU and several other institutions. But it's not compulsory in many colleges like Amity, Noida
