Is mathematics necessary for biotechnology course in India?

    It depends on the university. VIT offers you B.Tech in biotech even if you hv no maths but you hv to complete a bridge course in it once u get admission. Many of the universities abroad also offer B.tech without maths with the same condition.

    For B.Tech, maths is important If you want to get admission in government colleges.

    Hi Raja,
    If you're pursuing B.Sc in biotech then maths is not necessary but if you're pursuing B.Tech in biotechnology then maths is quite important.
