Is mathematics necessary in biotechnology Integrated course?
Asked about St. Xavier's College Kolkata - Discontinued (July 25) - Integrated B.Sc. + M.Sc in Biotechnology
I secured 92.2% in 12th exam but my math's number is not much. Is there any problem with that?

6 years agoHi there, Maths is not a compulsory subject in biotechnology integrated course. But if you want it or you like it then you can take it for sure. If you have taken Physics, Chemistry and Biology then my suggestion to you is don't take maths. Just focus on these three subjects and get good marks so that you can get admission in top colleges of Mumbai like Mithibai, Hinduja, St Xavier's, Ruparel for Biotechnology. All the best for your bright future my dear friend. Work hard and smart to get admission in top colleges of Mumbai. Thank you! -
No, maths is not important if you have bio along with physics and chemistry. English is the compulsory subject and you need only 60% in best four so you can even include maths. https://www.shiksha.com/abc/course/def-286609?rf=searchWidget&landing=clp All the best and give a like if you like the information.
