Yes, mathematics is required to pursue B.Tech in CSE. Mostly, the maths will helpful in dealing with statistics in data analytics subject for CSE.

Yes, for sure. There will be 3 books in 3 semesters with maths. So, you have to study maths to pursue B.Tech in CSE. First will be mathematics 1 then mathematics 2 and lastly mathematics 3. But if you follow the regular class and practice it then it will not be as difficult as you think. Be positive & best of luck.

6 years agoFor first two semesters, definitely, you have to study maths 1 and maths 2 and in second year, there's a discrete mathematics. So, mathematics is the base of Engineering. So, I don't think that mathematics not came in your CSE branch. -
Yes, Mathematics is required and is an important part of the academic syllabus of Computer Science because in computer science Engineering the focus is on programming and mathematics and logic are the most essential ingredients of programming and are needed frequently.
