    Good morning. Yes, Maths is a compulsory subject for B.Sc. Computer Science course as per madras university norms.

    Yes, maths is a compulsory subject in B.Sc computer science. In fact, you can notice that in every college/university, where you apply for B.Sc CS course, the criteria for application is you must have maths in class 12th. You have to study maths as a general subject if you study B.Sc CS and in every semester/year, you have to pass in that paper. When you complete your graduation and apply for B.Sc CS, in all the universities, the eligibility criteria is that you have to study maths as a subject at graduation level. Also, when you sit in a Masters degree entrance exam, most of the university have questions based on maths.
