Hi, Mathematics is not a must for admissions in IPM. The current batches IPM host a large chunk of students from Commerce background. No, having mathematics is not a compulsory criterion though it is preferable to have good knowledge and grip of maths.

There isn't any separate paper and rather a common paper is set which includes 60% weightage for mathematics.
