No, Maths is not compulsory for B.Com to take admission in colleges.
But it is compulsory for B.Com Honours for admission in du colleges and also in some other colleges.
So, it is not compulsory to have maths as your subject in the 12th standard to pursue bcom -
No there is no such criteria to get in B.Com degree. Anyone who is 12th pass can opt from B.Com. Also maths is something you cannot avoid. You will have a maths subject in B.com but it will not be very difficult one. Don't worry maths as a subject in 12th standard is not compulsory nor knowing maths beforehand is required. You will eventually learns its easy just pay attention in maths class and practice. If maths is your weak point then make sure you practice sums after class so that it won't become a burden during exam time. Hope this helps.

I believe Maths is compulsory for every stream. It might be a little tricky or be a bit of pressure to some, but I think it's the foundation for most of the needed subjects. It makes the mind sharp and to some extent increases the IQ of a person, scientifically. So, particularly about B.Com, I believe it's important as accountancy and its core subjects are a part of business Maths. Maths foundation is greatly needed. I loved Maths as a subject and it was great for my B.Com course.

Hi. It is not imperative to have Maths as one of your subjects in the 12th standard to pursue this degree. You only need to be a 12th pass student to be eligible for this course.
