Maths isn't required for CA. It's a great choice for commerce students who didn't choose maths. A three-tier exam is required to become a Chartered Accountant.

No Maths is not compulsory for the chartered accountant courses neither for the cost and management accountant course. You Only get mathematics in CA foundation exam that too is very basic Maths with you have studied in class 11th and 12th along with the Statistics portion. Most of the commerce background students does not have Maths in their 11th and 12th grade, and majority of CA students are from the commerce background.

No, Maths is not compulsory for the Chartered Accountants course, but a strong base in the subject will be required as the Chartered Accountants course includes subjects such as accountancy, quantitative ability, Statistics taxation, etc. For more information, you may visit the Shiksha ICAI CA exam page. (https://www.shiksha.com/accounting-commerce/accounting/icai-exam). I hope this will help you.
