    Yes, for doing Honours degree, you have to have maths in your school during 12th class. It's prevailing for both B.Com and economics Honours.

    No, but the criteria for admission in economics honors is as follows you should have studied mathematics in his/her 12th standard. One language i.e. English is to be included in the best four subjects for cut-off purposes. If you want to get admission in the best colleges, you have to get atleast 96%, and for a normal DU college you should have atleast 90%. If you have studied humanities in your 12th standard, you can't get admission in economics honors. If you are from commerce, it is must that you have mathematics as one of your subjects. If you are from science stream there will be a deduction of 2.5% from your aggregate percentage.
