    No, you need to have more than 55% in class 12th in any stream. Maths is not compulsory.

    For NEHU, You need to have qualified your +2 with 50% marks as an aggregate and had studied Maths or Economics as one of the subject in +2.

    The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing economics (Hons) degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognised board of the country. Some universities and colleges give preference to students who have studied economics as a subject at 10+2 level.
