Some colleges like DU ( Delhi University) and NMIMS require maths in class 12th to pursue BMS

While there are other private Universities and colleges where maths is not compulsory.

Students should be aware that Maths in class 12th is not mandatory to pursue BMS at IIM Sirmaur. Any stream of studies is accepted as long as students have completed 10+2 from a recognised board.

You only need to clear the IPMAT entrance and any other selection criteria.

Math in Class 12 isn't a must for BMS at most private colleges and universities. You can enter the course from any stream-Commerce, Arts, or Science-as long as you hit the minimum percentage. But if you set your sights on top institutes like Delhi University, SSCBS, or St. Xaviers, you do need Math on your Class 12 transcript. In short, whether you need the subject really comes down to the particular college you plan to apply to. Always double-check each schools admission page before you submit your application.
