First of all B.Tech in Biotechnology is classified as an engineering degree. So, for getting into an engineer course you will have to give MHT CET. MHT CET for engineering contains Maths. So yes, Maths is compulsory for you to get admission. MHT CET score with PCB won't be acceptable. -

Yes, Mathematics is compulsory to get admission in any branches of engineering. You can not get admission in Biotechnology without Mathematics. In entrance also, you will face Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics questions. So, you can't escape Mathematics at all.
