    The eligibility for B.Sc Economics at LPU is 60% in 10+2 with English, Mathematics is not compulsory. The programme is designed Keeping in mind the changing economic scenario, for opening new opportunities especially for the students who wish to pursue a higher degree in the field of economics.     Maths is not mandatory for this course. A lot depends upon your interest, which course to choose, as every course has it's own learning outcomes and career perspectives.     Mathematics as one of the subject in your +2.

    Yes, you need maths in class 12th for BA economic Honors in DU. Non maths students can not apply for this program in DU.

    Yes, Maths is mandatory in Class 12 to get admission to the B.A. (Economics) course at Hindu College Delhi. At the undergraduate level, Hindu College offers a three-year BA (Programme) and BA (Hons) course to students in the field of Arts. The BA (Hons) programme is available in nine specialisations and one of the specialisation is Economics. The Economics Department of Hindu College is a very good department with great faculty.

    As per my knowledge, Mathematics is not compulsory for admission in B.A or BSc economics, I am saying this because my cousin got enrolled for BSc.Economics program at LPU. If you opt for LPU, curriculum at LPU is designed in such a way that it makes it easy for every student to grab it. Also, Faculty at LPU is always at help whenever you need them. So, if you need any extra attention or help, faculty is always there for you. The university is equipped with the latest technologies delivering the most effective methods of teaching in its spacious campus.

    For your desired programme, the eligibility criteria at Lovely Professional University is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. Therefore mathematics is not mandatory, and you can proceed based on your 12th boards. LPU is one of the best universities in India.
