Is maths necessary for a PCB student to do B.Tech in biotechnology?

No, Its not mandatory. Still you need it for qualifying the entrance examination as it is a BTech course.

maybe for cracking the entrance exam you might need PCM group, since its engineering{ physics maths chemistry} .Other than that in syllabus you should explore syllabus...
