Is maths necessary for IIT JAM exam (biotechnology and environment sciences)? I am not from the maths background, but I am interested in it.

I am doing B.Sc in biotechnology, microbiology and chemistry and I opted for BIPC in HSC.

    Yes, maths is necessary in 12th standard for IIT. As you are interested in Biotechnology, please search for institutions, which don't require maths as a subject.
