Is Maths subject compulsory for BCA?

My son is studying in HSC but don't have Maths subject. Can he get admission in BCA?

    Dear aspirant, There is no hard and fast rule that you have to have Math subject in class 12th in order to pursue BCA. But few universities prefer those candidate for admission who have Math in their 12th. Students from any streams take this course and study it. But let me tell you something that can be a wise decision for you. SEE if a student is having Mathematics as his/her subject then it will definitely be beneficial because there is lot of use of Mathematics in any computer field be it BCA or Computer Science and engineering, so taking Mathematics will always be a wiser decision.     Yes, without computer and math skills in class 12th, you can pursue a BCA. Computer and math classes are optional for BCA students.
