Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) was founded by the Haryana State Legislature Act No. 29 of 2006 and is recognised under 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956. Shri Balwant Institute of Technology, Sonepat is popularly known as SBIT. The institute was established in the year of 2006. It is a private institute affiliated with GGSIPU New Delhi. The popular courses offered by SBIT are B.E./B.Tech and MCA. SBIT offers AICTE-approved undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the disciplines of Engineering, Management, and Computer Application. In addition to this, SBIT Sonepat has a dedicated training and placement cell. The highest package is offered at INR 12 LPA and the average package is offered at INR 3.6 LPA.
