Is MBA in IB better than marketing?

MBA in marketing is one of the oldest disciplines of management study. If you are interested in the entertainment, media, promotions, advertisement, sales and general management field, then the MBA is appropriate for you. MBA in international business is a postgraduate programme which equips the students with the sufficient knowledge and training for the all needed basic knowledge of international business. It is a degree designed to develop the resources and capability of managers in the global economy.

While this is totally selective and depends upon individual interest and Plan to pursue his/her career in particular domain. Still I would say MBA in marketing will be preferred considering following points: There are more marketing jobs considering Indian market compared to International business jobs. No of colleges giving International business degree are small, which certainly means competition will be more. Choosing marketing domain wouldn't restrict you to a certain area rather you will wide field to explore. Jobs in marketing has a wide range of salary structure compared to that of International business. I would again say it's completely self interest and strength in particular domain that should guide your choice yet Marketing would be one if you want to be on the safer side. If you are looking for best colleges, I will be advise you to do your degree from Geeta University which is a well known university and that provides prime placement opportunity, outstanding exposure and professional enhancement training.

Dear Priti, We cannot say that which specialisation is good and which is not, but check out in your own way the possibilities of the placements. If you see positively you can choose, if not stick to the regular specialisations. All the best.
