MBA in IT is not equivalent to MBA in systems.
MBA in IT is the study of Information Technology and gives a generic overview of Information technology and focus could be on application programming, web technologies, etc.
Whereas, in MBA-Systems one gets an overview of IT and different systems used. It would focus on networks, servers, database management, etc.
One should carefully go through the curriculum details and get an understanding on its focused areas. Each college may have their own understanding of IT and Systems.
