MBA and PGDM (Post Graduate Degree in Management) are same and vary in some syllabus content. MBAs are given by universities with fixed syllabus where as PGDM is offered by autonomous or deemed universities with flexible syllabus, keeping in mind the industry requirement.

MBA is a management course where you learn about things like marketing, operations, finance etc. In PGDFM you will only learn about finance.
So the no. of jobs that you can apply for will be much more if you go for MBA vs PGDFM.
