Although both BTech CSE and MCA are similar courses with very large similarites, Indian IT considers BTech CSE superior to MCA because computer engineer can be employed for both Apps and System development projects. Where MCA graduates are more skilled to be Apps developer. -
Both the courses are similar Shiva, but with B.Tech in CSE you get a choice to opt for a specialization course.
University of Technology and Management www.utm.ac.in (Shillong) offers a varied course to B. Tech CSE Students. You can either opt for B. Tech CSE with Cloud Computing OR Oil and Gas Informatics as your main engineering domain.
So, I think that it will prove to be more beneficial in you career prospects.

MCA is post graduate course and B.Tech in Under graduate course and both are not same.
MCA is more on the application side (coding, applications etc.) B.Tech is a bit comprehensive and covers the engineering aspects of computer (programming; electronics, hardware etc.)
MCA can be done after graduation and B.Tech can be done after 12th Science.
