Is MCA degree from SHUATS valid or not?

I have enrolled for MCA in the year 2005 from SHUATS and after a few years, we got the news from UGC that it has debarred SHUATS to offer distance education for the Academic year 2016-2020. Can anyone confirm if my degree is valid? I have got the MCA degree in the year 2018 from SHUATS.

    Your degree is not valid because it is through distance education, however, you can apply jobs in private sector.
