Is MCA equivalent to B.Tech (CSE/ IT) in salary, job, reputation, demand?

Right now I am pursuing BBA 2nd year. Are the MCAs having only BCA background are equivalent to B.Tech or all MCAs from various backgrounds like BCA, BBA, B.Sc, BA, B.Com are equivalent to B.tech(CSE/IT)? What is the average salary of a MCA fresher?
