In UK, all Masters courses are 1 year and both Masters in Computers have the same rating as Masters in IT. The important point is what area of Masters excites you. Mail me your resume at ria.s@india.com if you need further advise (Ria from Scotland, UK)

No. You study three years and study every thing. But MSC IT is a one year programme and becasue of the specilisatio it is easy for you get jobs than an MCA

MCA is better than msc it.....SMU offer MCA degree to MSC IT students..

Hi dharani, there is no MCA offered in the UK. If you would like to compare then go through the modules of both the courses and see which one gives you more exposure and knowledge opt for that. And future both have the same scope.

Dear Dharani,
MCA ( Masters of Computer Applications) & MSc IT (Masters of Science in Information Technology) both of them are mastres degree., different is just in the duration, both courses provide good software skills.
Please check the recognition with UGC/AICTE/DEC.
