Is MEC Kochi as good as TKM Institute of Management?

It is an autonomous agency under the Government of Kerala, eastablished in 1989. It is affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) since 2015.</p><p>MEC is a proper engineering institute. Courses available in this Institute are B.Tech &amp; M.tech with various engineering departments (9 departments in B.Tech UG) (5 departments in M.Tech PG). B.Tech tution fees varies from INR 1.1LPA to 3LPA &amp; it's mode of admission is through&nbsp;<strong>KEAM, CBSE12 &amp; KERALA12 Entrance exams</strong>, M.Tech mode of admission is through<strong> GATE.</strong></p><p>MEC's highest package was INR <strong>32LPA as of 2022 </strong>records &amp; average package of INR <strong>6.5LPA as 416 campus offers</strong> were made in the year 2022.</p><p>Whereas, <strong>The TKM Institute of Management (TIM) is a business management school in Kerala.</strong> TIM which is governed by TKM College Trust offers an MBA programme which is approved by AICTE and affiliated to University of Kerala. This MBA programme is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).</p><p>TIM provides admissions only in MBA courses, it doesn't have any UG courses as of now.</p><p>According to sources, the average package offered during TKM Institute of Management placements in 2020 was&nbsp;<strong>INR 3.70 LPA</strong>, while the highest package was INR 10.20 LPA. The college has not released its official placement statistics for the year 2022.</p><p>If you are seriously concerned to make your career at engineering &amp; have a well planned structure you can surely opt MEC as it will provide you great atmosphere and TIM is great for admission in MBA courses which will provide you a wide campus experience.</p>
