Is mechanical engineering a better choice than computer science and information technology in terms of future scope?

Hello Shivam,
If you have a knack for science and math, either mechanical engineering or computer programming could satisfy you on the job. But beyond their technical bent, the two are quite different. Mechanical engineers invent new products and mainly deals with machines, manufacturing and automobile sector. While in CSE you deal with coading, programming and software developments.So its you who can decide what could be best bet for you. no i don't think so. earlier it was CIVIL Engg. but it also got full of students and lost its value . Same goes with MECH in coming time .but as far as IT or CS is concerned.its having value more than any stream. and will lasts for longer time
