why not ? Do you mechanical engineers can do masters in the following fields. you can do aeronautical, aerospace., Automotive,Automotive design,product design, manufacturing,Cad cam,petroleum eng, oil and gas, procurement, supply chain mgmt and so on, you can get jobs in any one of the fields.

To be frank, mechanical engineering students are more than mechanical engineering jobs available now. But if you are smart enough in your field then you will possibly get ahead of others in the competition. And stop thinking whats good for a girl and start thinking what you want to do.

Nowadays lots of female students are doing BTech Mechanical Engineering. They are accepted by various industries equal to male counterpart. Female Mechanical Engineers prefer design work and maximum are employed in R&D and design related activities.
