I am an Alumni of LPU and had so many friends in B.Tech ME. On the basis of their feedback in our discussions I can say LPU is having edge over any other University for engineering courses and specially B.Tech Mechanical. Dear Sai, It would be a good choice to opt for Lovely Professional University as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all round development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. Without any bias towards any particular college, I ll offer you my own perspective. It depends on your end goals or objectives. Your decision making should not be on the basis of placements, packages but on quality of students ( your peer group), faculty, infrastructure, curriculum, and the alumni network. I had the same question when I was looking out for college for my B.Tech I was confused between Delhi Technological University, Delhi, and Lovely Professional University Phagwara. But after discussions, thinking, and recommendations from my relatives ( Allummni of LPU) I joined LPU. It was actually a great decision. As per my experience, LPU is the best place for engineering.
