    First part:
    All branches of engineering are best for girls, now the employers are mostly gender neutral, so all the conservative thoughts are now meaningless. YES ME is good for girl if her interests, aptitude, passion, favorite subjects, personality traits and aspirations point towards mechanical. If you choose according to these, you will have ample opportunities in your chosen branch. Second part:
    And must choose the college by comparing them on the curriculum development, teaching pedagogy, industry interface, infrastructure, alumni and placements. Some good ones are IITs, BITs, VIT, PEC, Thapar and LPU. Hope this helps. DVD.

    Nowadays most of the companies are encouraging diversity in their workforce and management. Therefore, there are good opportunities for females in all engineering fields. There are a lot of female students who are opting for mechanical engineering and having a good career as design engineers.

    There are many girls who have done mechanical engineering. But due to mind set less girls choose mechanical engineering. But career wise you won't have any difficulty as a girl only during your third semester and 4th semester we have some labs wherein you have to do certain minimum physical work as a part of learning, which won't be that difficult. Many girls have done. Once you are done with your education you may look for a job in design or analysis. Most girl choose the same.     Hi Aathira, In yesteryear's, it was common thing that Odd one's are out. But now the trends are changing. Girls mechanical Engineers are also acceptable in the corporate companies. For eg: Subordinate companies of Maruti Udyog in Manesar, Gurugram plant. Now the employers are mostly gender neutral, so all the conservative thoughts are now meaningless. For putting more spark in your profile you can pursue MBA further as a higher Education.
