First part: All branches of engineering are best for girls, now the employers are mostly gender neutral, so all the conservative thoughts are now meaningless. YES ME is good for girl if her interests, aptitude, passion, favorite subjects, personality traits and aspirations point towards mechanical.

Nowadays most of the companies are encouraging diversity in their workforce and management. Therefore, there are good opportunities for females in all engineering fields. There are a lot of female students who are opting for mechanical engineering and having a good career as design engineers.

There are many girls who have done mechanical engineering. But due to mind set less girls choose mechanical engineering. Hi Aathira, In yesteryear's, it was common thing that Odd one's are out. But now the trends are changing. Girls mechanical Engineers are also acceptable in the corporate companies.
