Mechatronics is certainly harder than the other engineering courses as it's a combination of a few fields such as mechanics, electrical and electronics, robotics and so on. Even though it has a tough curriculum to pursue out, it is good towards the future. Since it opens up ways to various fields, the job opportunities will be more. As an Indian, I don't think it's easy to get jobs here for Mechatronics pursuers. It would be better to go abroad and work. Our life will be all set for the future days. It's anyway not a regretful decision to take up Mechatronics as our specialisation in engineering.
