Lots of opportunities are appearing on the horizon for the requirement of mankind to develop newer and better materials for use, especially given the sustainable development theme that is being propagated these days. There is a need for research into this field for finding out the right kind of metallurgical and material things which can be reused for or there will be very less wastage after use. The teachers at NIT, Warangal are well knowledgeable about the courses you've mentioned. Considering the study, they'll give you complete concept deeply. But,coming to placements,career it is a little bit difficult. Present market is revolving around software,Mechanical, EEE etc. Career may be difficult,so choose any other course.

Faculty is good. Coming to jobs you will have to try a little hard. Mostly you can get faculty jobs or you can pursue M.Tech easily with a degree in metallurgical and material science department. It would be fruitful if you go to research side as there is a great scope for material science engineers.
