is metallurgy is a suitable option for the P.G. regarding the situation after 3 yrs.?
i have interest in that subject & also i like it so much but along with that i like also designing...in robotics also....but among all of them i prefer this over them...so is it convinient rather suitable option for further studies in upcoming yrs...& i only wanna do my best work in R&D section.

Metallurgy is good field. It has jobs today and will have jobs in future too. You can do MTech or MS in Metallurgy or related fields later.
