Is MHT-CET 2017 useful for Non-Maharashtrian students to pursue B.Tech? Will I get COEP or MIT, Pune if I do good in it?

I am expecting 135 marks in JEE Mains 2017. I got 91.2% in CBSE 2016. I am General category, non-maharashtrian and have no reservation.

Yes, it is useful but the first priority for government colleges is going to local candidates then if seat is vacant, then they provide seat in the government colleges.
