    While there is some overlap in the syllabus of MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) and JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination), they are not entirely identical. Both exams focus on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, but the depth and emphasis on specific topics may vary.

    MHT CET primarily draws its syllabus from the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, covering class 11 and 12 topics. On the other hand, JEE Mains, a national-level exam, follows a syllabus designed by the National Testing Agency (NTA), encompassing a broader range of topics and often with a more in-depth approach.

    The syllabus of MHT CETs is not same as JEE Main. Candidates must note that MHT CETs and JEE Mains are two different exam meant for different purposes. MHT CET is conducted for admission to BTech courses in institutes of Maharashtra while JEE Mains is conducted for admission to NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs. 

    In terms of syllabus, although both MHT CETs and Mains have class 11 and 12 topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, there are some topics which are a part of Mains syllabus but not in CET.
