    The MIT University, Shillong is a private university that offers courses in engineering, management, and design. It has satisfactory infrastructure, an updated syllabus, and decent placement support. It is improving but is not on the same level as the top National institutes. However, it is a reasonable choice for students looking to study at private universities around the Northeast Region.
