what I have experience in LPU during my graduation and post graduation that this place is actually too good not for engineering only but for overall education in every field. LPU is made up of all those things which can transform a person into wonderful personality in all aspects if you take things positively and yes seriously too. LPU provides specialization also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 Lacs per annum. As per the last year record of LPU The average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10lakh per annum. Moreover, ECE dept is also well-equipped with great facilities. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, soft skills class etc. The best part is quality of curriculum which is really worthy and as per the industry standards. Every small content of every semester syllabus and subjects are benchmarked with the foreign universities. Moreover, the faculty members have great knowledge and wonderful skills of teaching. As a LPU alumni, it might make you feel that I am supporting LPU but this actually a reality and fact that LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. My lot of friends have done B.Tech, M.Tech from LPU and they have wonderful experience and they are doing great in their fields with handsome salary packages. Hellp Dushyant, Here review of LPU by my friend who studied from LPU: 1. Academics: 2 stars. Most of the faculty in ECE, mechanical, civil is not experienced. You will definitely lose interest in academics. You have to go for NPTEL lectures for understanding the subject. Labs are just average. 2. Course fee: You will get scholarship if you got good score in high school. 3. Library: 4 stars. Central Library is huge and you find almost any book related to academics and some books are not in adequate amount. 4. Hostels: 4 stars. Hostel is very good. Wi-Fi facility is not available from 9 am to 5 pm. 5. Food: 2 stars.You find both North and South Indian mess. Food is very bad. It is better not to opt any type of food. 6. Canteens: You find a number of canteens around the hostels till 10 to 11pm. Non veg (eggs included) not allowed inside the campus. If you do, you will be fined or suspended from the university for maximum of upto a week. 7. Culture: Unity in Diversity is the motto of LPU and it follows it strictly. You will find students from all states. Also, you find students from Africa, Sri Lanka, Afghanisthan etc. 8. Placements:1star. After completion of your engineering, it doesn't matter which branch you are from You get good placement if your scores are good.
