Is my degree valid for a government job and higher studies? I have done BA through correspondence in political science from Sikkim Manipal.

Please, check the UGC website for the latest circular on institutions, going without approval. Distance Education Certificate is not a problem. Anyhow, you have to prepare for a test, if you are fully qualified.

Get your Documents ready and updated, regarding your qualification in 2011. You can ask someone in Service Commission for advice.Or, you ask a Senior Lawyer for advice.
