    Mysore University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited with A Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University of Mysore has also been ranked 44 in the University category and 71 in the Overall category by NIRF ranking 2023. The university, through its around 228 affiliated colleges and 85 PG departments, offers UG, PG Diploma PG Diploma and Certificate courses to the students. Some of the names of the top recruiters who visited the campus for placements include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, IBM, EY, HCL, etc.
