Is NDA exam only for male candidates?

Hi Snehal, NDA exam was used to be for male candidates, but now it is not. Both are eligible now, both male female can write NDA exam.

Hi, NDA was only for males in 2019 and after the rule change, girls are also eligible for NDA. Now both are eligible for NDA exam and the process is the same like before.

Hello dear, No, the SC had passed an order permitting women to take the NDA recruitment test. Out of 400 seats in Army, 19 seats are reserved for NDA female candidates. NDA Educational Qualifications - For Army Wing - Pass Certificate in 10+2 exam For Air Force and Naval Wings - Passing Certification of Class 12th exam with Physics and Mathematics. The National Defence Academy NDA is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force train together before they go on to respective service academies for further pre-commissioning training. National Defence Academy or NDA is one of the most sought-after defense entrance exams in the country. The exam is conducted for admission to Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). NDA is conducted twice a year in two stages: written exam and SSB Interview. UPSC prepares a list of candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in the written exam. Such candidates are called for SSB Interview for Intelligence and Personality Test. NDA has 2 section MAT of 120Q with 300 marks and GAT of 150 Q with 600 marks. There is also a negative marking for every wrong question. This requires deep and complete knowledge of the syllabus.
