Yeah, for LPU NEST counselling, you pretty much need your Class 10 and 12 certificates or at least the marksheets handy. They're super important to verify your age from 10th and check eligibility via 12th before they lock in your seat or scholarship—LPU's process is smooth like that, making sure everything's legit right away.
If you're awaiting 12th results, no stress; you can submit later, but bring what you've got to avoid delays. LPU keeps it student-friendly, listing all docs clearly on their site so you're not scrambling. Pro tip: Also pack your NEST admit card, scorecard, photos, and ID proof.

Yes, it is actually very much required to bring along Class 10 and 12 certificates or at least mark sheets during the LPU NEST counseling, primarily because the university explicitly would wish to establish the age of applicants from the Class 10 marksheet and verify eligibility with the Class 12 certificate/marksheet before confirming admission and awarding a scholarship.

The candidates must upload the Class 10 and Class 12 certificates during the counselling. The list of documents that have to be submitted will be given on the admission form. Candidates must make sure that all the documents are uploaded.

Yes, students can get admission in LPU without LPUNEST if they have scores of other accepted exams. The university conducts LPUNEST as both a scholarship and entrance test. Students can instead submit scores of the following exams as well:

  • JEE Mains for BTech admission
  • CAT/ XAT/ MAT for MBA admission
  • CUET-PG for MSc, MCA, etc.
  • GATE for M.Tech admission
  • NATA for BArch admission

you can totally join LPU without taking LPUNEST, depending on the course you're eyeing. For lots of programs like BBA, BCom, BA, or BCA, they check your 12th marks or previous academics, and if you meet the cutoff, you're in—no test needed. Just apply online at admission.lpu.in, pay the Rs 10,000 provisional fee to lock your spot (it adjusts later), and you're good, as long as you fit eligibility.
For stuff like BTech, MBA, or agriculture though, LPUNEST is usually mandatory for entry and scholarships, but even there, toppers or those with JEE/NEET scores might skip it. LPU keeps it flexible so more students get a shot at their awesom
