Is NEET exam compulsory for admission to MBBS at IMS BHU?

<p>The NEET exam is considered mandatory for admission to IMS BHU for the MBBS course. The admission process is completely merit-based. As per the records of <strong>2023</strong>, the NEET UG general AIQ cut-off closed on the <strong>1084 rank</strong> for the MBBS course. Given the ranks of <strong>2022</strong> and <strong>2021, </strong> the general AIQ rank stood around <strong>2735</strong> and <strong>974</strong> for MBBS.</p>

<p>To be eligible for the MBBS programme at the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) in Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the NEET entrance exam is compulsory. The eligibility criteria for the MBBS programme at IMS BHU, is that the candidates must have a valid NEET UG score. They must also have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Science subjects and English from a recognised board or university. Candidates can apply online by visiting the BHU website, registering, filling out the application form, uploading documents, and paying the application fee. Further counselling will be conducted and the eligible candidates are often allotted IMS BHU after the second round of All India Counseling.</p>
