No, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is not required to be taken up for admission to Doctorate of Medicine courses in India. Normally, postgraduate medical admissions are carried out through the NEET-PG examination intended for candidates seeking admission to MD, MS and PG Diploma courses.
