Is NET helpful for getting admission in Ph.D? I have done M.Tech.

Hi Sayyada, The NET exam is organized for more than 84 subjects through UGC NET and CSIR NET. The Science stream candidates can apply for CSIR NET while other stream candidate can apply for UGC NET. The purpose of both exam is same that is to determine the eligibility of the candidates for assistant

Yes, NET is helpful for Ph.D. admission as you get scholarship in it and that helps you pursue studies at good institution / university. However, your overall percentage at Masters level is countable first.
