Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT) is generally considered affordable, especially compared to some other private engineering colleges in India. While the institute itself is not particularly expensive, the fees for different courses can vary. BTech and M.Tech programs tend to be the most expensive.

The total tuition fee for a BTech programme at NSIT is estimated to be around INR 3.6 Lakhs per year. Whereas, the fees for M.Tech programs might be higher than BTech programs. The annual fee for a Ph.D. programme is significantly lower, around INR 29,000.

Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT) was formally known as Delhi Institute of Technology. It is a government institution, but its fees are higher compared to other state engineering colleges that charge what are regarded as affordable fees.

NSUT offers a wide range of scholarships to students based on their academic performance and financial need. The NSP (National Scholarship Portal) also provides financial assistance, and there are some private scholarships available.

    ExpenseEstimated Cost
    B.Tech Tuition Fee (annual)INR 3.5 Lakhs
    Hostel Fee (annual)INR 50,000 - 1 Lakh
    Other Expenses (approx)INR 20,000 - 30,000
    Total (annual)INR 4.2 Lakhs to 4.8 lakhs

No, Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology is affordable. Different courses have different fees structure, some courses are quite expensive because of their demand like BTech and MTech, except these two courses, all courses are very cheap. Like for Phd, it's 29,000 thousand,  for M.Sc, it is 42,000, and for MA, it is 42,000 thousand. It's indeed one of the top most colleges in Delhi. It has a beautiful environment with experienced faculty members and with great placements.
