    Newcastle University is a public research university located in Newcastle, Tyne in the North East of England. It was ranked at #16 in the UK for research by the Research Excellence Framework along with global impact. Newcastle University is also a member of the Russell Group which has 24 leading research universities in the UK. It offers a lot of UG and PG courses in areas such as Medicine, Sciences, Agriculture, Engineering, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities.

    Hi.

    Newcastle University (legally the University of Newcastle upon Tyne) is a  public research university. It is located in Newcastle upon Tyne, North East England, and is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of research-intensive UK universities. 
    The university was established in 1963 by an Act of Parliament, following a history that traces back to the School of Medicine and Surgery in 1834 and the College of Physical Science in 1871.
