    NID (National Institute of Design) Bangalore is an autonomous institution approved by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India. It is recognised as one of the best institutions for research and education in the fields of IT, textiles, industrial design, and communication.

    NID offers 16 courses i.e. B.Des (8), M.Des (7), and Ph.D. The placements are good NID,  the average package offered was INR 21.30 LPA (Approx.) during NID Ahmedabad placements 2023.

    National Institute of Design Ahmedabad is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. NID has been declared as 'Institution of National Importance' by the ACT of Parliament. NID Ahmedabad offers 16 courses at the UG, PG and doctoral levels. BDes and MDes are the popular courses offered by NID Ahmedabad.
