The National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, is well known for its design courses. It does not offer architecture courses like a Bachelor's in architecture or a master's in architecture. Instead, it offers Bachelor of design and master of design courses. It offers B. Des in eight specializations and M.Des in seven specializations. There is, however, one course, Furniture and Interior Design, that is available at both the master's and Bachelor's levels. NID ( National Institute of Design) offers courses in Animation and design ( 17 courses ), engineering and architecture ( 2 courses) media, mass communication and journalism ( 2 courses ). In engineering and architecture course you can do Bachelor's in B. Des Product Design and Master's in M.Des product design.
